Egg-tastic!

A sparkly room for many sparkling objects

Our second major stop on the first day of St. Petersburg was at the Faberge Museum.

The House of Faberge was founded in 1842 and created a wide range of precious objects for the Russian Royal family, including the 9 eggs on display in the museum.

The building itself was stunning and also included several impressionist painting by French artists (Renoir) and Russian artists.

It was a great way to end our first day in St. Petersburg.
